Neutral Ground is run exclusively by volunteers and is funded primarily by money raised through membership and group suggested donations. The membership and group suggested donations are kept low so that everyone can afford to participate, but they don't come close to covering the cost of rent, insurance, printing, other office expenses, coffee time and subsidizing of social activities.
